Project Overview
Engineering consultancy for the Interior Fit-Out Works at Khalifa University Main Campus. The scope enhances functionality and aesthetic appeal across key academic and faculty areas, ensuring an environment conducive to learning, research, and collaboration.
Works span the 3rd Floor (AP Offices and Common Lounge in Building C, Faculty Offices in Buildings A and B), the 4th Floor (SVP Offices in Building E, bridge links AB / BC / CD), and the 5th Floor (continuation of fit-out interventions).
Design Approach
The interior language balances institutional clarity with hospitality-grade refinement — warm walnut joinery, acoustic ceiling discs, ambient cove lighting, and a calm neutral palette frame collaborative zones, quiet faculty offices, and executive VIP lounges. Material choices and lighting layers were coordinated with MEP and structural disciplines to keep the existing campus character intact.
Engineering Disciplines
- Architectural design & interior detailing
- Structural assessment for fit-out interventions
- MEP design — HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety
- Estidama Pearl rating coordination
- Site supervision and snagging through hand-over
